Mr. Carter’s work history has varied widely through out the years... Mr. Carter’s litigation and lobbying practice includes trial and appellate cases, as well as representing corporations with respect to transactional matters. Mr. Carter also represents major corporations before governmental entities. Having been associated with the firms of Law Office of William E. King, P.C. and Linebarger, Goggan, Blair, Sampson, Mr. Carter has practiced in the areas of commercial litigation, business bankruptcy, and public law. Mr. Carter has represented the City of Houston, Ft. Bend County, Houston-Galveston Area Council, ACS, Hudson, Texas Manufactured Housing Association, Motorola, Clear Channel Outdoor, Oracle, Lockheed Martin IMS, Landry’s Seafood Restaurants, Inc., Omnibase, Heery, Western Integrated Networks, Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County, and News & Gift Shops International, Inc. among others.

Mr. Carter served as the Legal Counsel for the nonprofit corporation Making Main Street Happen, Inc. Mr. Carter served on the Board of Directors for Sectorware, LLC, a start up company based in Houston. Mr. Carter was the managing attorney for Burney, Foreman & Carter a joint venture that represents the North Forest Independent School District as its general counsel.

How it All Began Licensed by the State of Texas, Mr. Carter achieved his Juris Doctorate in December 1994 from the University of Houston Law Center. He was awarded the degree of Bachelor of Science from the University of Houston in December of 1987. Mr. Carter is admitted to practice before the Texas Supreme Court and the Southern District of Texas. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Houston Bar Association, and American Bar Association.

Mr. Carter’s work history has varied over the years. Mr. Carter began work as a supervisor for fifteen employees of a small company in Fort Worth, Texas. After graduating college, Mr. Carter served as a political consultant for Greater Houston Campaigns.
